I have finally decided to take the plunge and add a blog to my site. I always wanted an easy way to share information with visitors and super excited to start this journey. Keep coming back to my site and check for updates right here on the blog.

In today's world where it doesn't take much more than a laptop to run a business or get an education, how do we know which direction to go?

There are so many ways to use our time and so many ways to fill our days with activities. How do we know which activities are really going to get us closer to our goals?

We could just be running on a treadmill of life, but maybe there is something more.

Maybe if we look at ourselves and ask questions like, why am I doing this? What is my goal? Where am I going? How am I going to know when I get there?

It may really be a question of "who do I want to become" that we don't often ask ourselves.

You know that getting through the day to day motions of life may seem great. It can be a great way to live, but when you wake up with that feeling like, why am I doing this again? Or is this where I really want to go? That may be when it's time to take a step back and either recreate a vision board or just ask yourself some key questions to life to figure out...

Am I going in the right direction? Am I going to look back on this time and realize and appreciate that I was working towards my goals?

And the answer is probably "yes" because we are all moving forward, but let's just see if there's a way to maximize our time and focus our energy so that we can become more powerful, more amazing and happier people in our day to day activities.

Because once you know what your goal is, then it's easier to know that you're going in the right direction.

If you have an idea of what the goal is, then you can ask yourself, is this activity getting me closer to my goals or is this activities solving a problem that will take a hindrance out of the way for my goals? Or is this activity that's something that just has to be done because it's just a basic part of life? Or is this activity not helping me in any way and actually deterring from my goals?

So that's why it's important to set clear, focused goals and know where you are going, because then you'll know if you're heading in the right direction. So that when you do get there and you have your key performance indicators of life, of things you want to achieve, it will be much easier to know that you were headed in the right direction.

We are going to do a little activity on goal setting that will be the first of many fun (and sometimes challenging) steps to strategizing our day-to-day activities so that we can live a more abundant, happier, more joy-filled life.

ACTIVITY:
Write Out "How I want to be remembered."

- Think of things you want people to say about you.

- No one else has to read this sheet. This is for you.

- What words make you smile? Write those down.

- What were you wearing the last time you felt really great? How can you incorporate parts of that into your everyday wardrobe? Maybe wearing a piece of jewelry you got on a day you felt really good.

- Why do people like to talk to you? What things do you know that others enjoy learning about? Think about crafts, school, work, travel, hobbies.
